SIMON ACRES MAKES CHARITY DONATION FOLLOWING KBB

Simon Acres Group donated £5,000 to three designated charities, following its successful first year at KBB Birmingham 2020.
The company committed to not use any plastic for marketing merchandise for the duration of KBB, donating the money they would have spent, estimated to be £5,000, to wellness
charities. Visitors to the stand were able to indicate what proportion of the £5,000 allocated should go to one of three chosen charities.
The visitor selections resulted in donations of £3,000 to the children’s mental health charity Tappy Twins, £1,125 to the Samaritans and £875 to Mind.
Tappy Twins, which is run by Suzanne Skeete, Managing Director of TT Training Academy
and Inspirational Woman of the Year 2018, is a charity that inspires and educates children in a fun and interactive way.
Suzanne spent time on the Simon Acres Group stand, helping to explain how Tappy Twins works and how young people can access the mental health support they need, when they
need it most.
“I am grateful to Simon and his team for all their support,” said Suzanne. “The £3,000 will enable us to help more young people that need our support.”
Simon Acres said, “We were delighted to have the opportunity to continue our work on promoting Wellness in the Workplace at KBB. In addition to Suzanne, we also had Sam Vaux
from the Samaritans and James Capell-Abra from Stress Matters on the stand. James was promoting the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course that will take place at Simon Acres
Group on 16th and 17th April.
“This was our first KBB exhibition and we have already signed up for 2022. The event proved to be a fantastic opportunity to meet prospect clients, meet with our current clients
and colleagues.”
