Simon Acres Group (SAGL) has recently supported the BacZac annual golf day by sponsoring one of the holes. The Northampton based charity works with young people with cancer and their families.
Director of Simon Acres Recruitment, Ben Paine, attended the day. He had previously raised money for the charity with a sponsored run and cycle ride. Ben says, “The Covid pandemic has been devastating for BacZac”.
He goes on to say that “the money raised from the golf day will help this special charity and fulfil the legacy of very brave young man who sadly lost his own brave and courageous battle.
”The charity offers practical help via meal vouchers and grants. It is looking to raise enough money for a respite home. This would provide holiday accommodation for families with a young adult suffering from cancer, possibly one last trip away as a family, or to aid a bereaved family.”
