Simon Acres and Johnny Grey promote Bucks University kitchen design degree

Acres and Grey come together on film to promote the benefits of a Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design Renowned kitchen designer Johnny Grey and Simon Acres, director at The Simon Acres Group (SAGL) have come together on film to promote the benefits of studying for a Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Bucks University.

Grey is visiting professor of design and kitchen culture at Bucks New University and Acres is a passionate supporter of the degree course, the first of its kind to be launched in the UK.

‘This blended degree course offers a combination of academic study and hands on design so that students can keep their careers on track whilst studying,’ says Grey.

‘The residential weekends are a very special part of the programme, as we bring together guest speakers from the world of design to inspire students and help them broaden their horizons.’

Acres adds, ‘I hope that by making and sharing this film, we can encourage others to enhance their qualifications with a degree from Bucks University, and boost their intake for the new academic year starting in September. ’We have seen first-hand how much students gain from the course, as SAGL has sponsored a student, Andrea Williams, by making a financial contribution towards her fees. ‘We want to encourage students to see this course as an investment in their career, and there are also a number of generous bursaries available to help with fees.
