Simon Acres is the Managing Director and founder of Simon Acres Group Ltd, an award-winning company (AAN SME Engagement Award 2024/2025) and a specialist service provider to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (KBB), merchant, and construction industries.

With over 30 years of experience in the sector, Simon’s journey spans senior leadership roles in retail and manufacturing, including 20 years as Group Sales Director at Omega PLC and earlier positions at John Lewis and The PJH Group Ltd.

Simon is highly regarded for his commitment to supporting apprenticeships and closing the skills gap across the KBB and installation industries. In 2025 he was honoured with The David Caulfield Outstanding Contribution Award at the BKU Awards in recognition of his exceptional dedication to training, education, and talent development.

Beyond his company leadership, Simon plays active roles in industry organisations: he serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of the BIFIS, is a committee member of the Worshipful Furniture Makers Company’s training and education committee, and is part of the Apprenticeship Ambassadors Network and Department of Education apprenticeship working groups.

Award-Winning Designer & NKBA Leader

Sharon is a veteran of the design world and a respected member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), where she leads her own successful kitchen and bath design firm. She regularly speaks at industry conferences, sharing insights on design trends, marketing, and business growth. Her expertise bridges design excellence with real-world installation considerations — a must-heard perspective for anyone working on projects that demand both beautiful design and flawless execution.

Mark Rosenhaus

NKBA Design & Innovation Expert

Mark Rosenhaus is an established designer based in New York with a strong background in interior architecture and kitchen & bath design. As a long-time contributor to the NKBA community and a respected practitioner, Mark brings a practical design lens to conversations about installations, client expectations, and how installers and designers can work together more effectively.

KBB Installations & Industry Advocate

Mark is a highly experienced leader in the kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms (KBB) sector with decades of experience — starting as a joinery apprentice, building his own successful installation business and later expanding into the U.S. as Managing Director of SENSTEC USA. He’s also been recognised as KBB Magazine’s Skilled Trades Champion and brings deep insights into installation practices, cross-Atlantic trade perspectives and sector growth.

Mark’s long career gives him a unique voice on both the practical and business sides of installation — from tradesmanship to strategic development — making him an invaluable voice on any industry panel.
