About the Role

This is a varied position combining design support, project administration and customer service.

Working alongside an experienced team, the successful candidate will assist with the coordination of customer projects and the day-to-day administration required to ensure an efficient and professional service.

For someone looking to develop their design career, there will also be opportunities to gain greater involvement in projects as their knowledge and experience progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing administrative and project support to the design and sales team.

• Preparing and maintaining customer and project documentation.

• Managing correspondence and updating internal records.

• Responding to customer enquiries and providing ongoing project support.

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and other parties involved in projects.

• Assisting with the coordination of orders and project information.

• Supporting customers following their initial purchase where required.

• Ensuring project details and documentation are accurate and up to date.

• Helping the wider team deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

• Becoming involved in design-related work and smaller projects as experience develops.

Requirements / Skills:

• Previous experience within KBB, interiors, home improvement or another design-focused environment would be advantageous.

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.

• An interest in interior design and customer-led projects.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Confident written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional and personable approach to customer service.

• Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to deadlines.

• Comfortable using standard Microsoft Office applications.

• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working as part of a team.

• Previous CAD or design software experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

What’s on Offer:

• £21,000 – £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
