Head of Finance

Simon Acres Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading luxury interiors specialist who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their growing team!
Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Formulating and executing financial strategies that support the company’s objectives and growth plans.
  • Supervising the creation of precise and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Tracking financial performance and offering insights and recommendations for enhancements.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Managing cash flow, investment strategies, and financial risks.
  • Directing financial audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Overseeing accounting, tax, and treasury operations.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory agencies.

  • Experience of working with business central.
  • Excellent numerical and literacy skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial topics to non-finance professionals.
  • A tenacious nature with the ability to problem solve.
  • The authority, credibility and integrity to command respect and hold teams or areas to account when required.
  • The ability to translate operational requirements into finance team tasks.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience with strategic planning, performance management, and budgeting processes.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, reporting standards (FRS 102, IFRS), and risk management practices.
